In his December 30, 2024 Telegram post, former President of Russia and current Russian National Security Council Deputy Chairman, Dmitri Medvedev, employing his sarcastically perverted sense of humor, engaged in a ‘year in review’ of events. While at times it is unclear to what he was referring, his selective reminiscences of the past year do demonstrate an attentiveness to and grasp of world affairs, albeit through a distorted lens fueled by a hatred of the West.

Medvedev’s post begins below [translated from Russian by LOC]:

Last year I put together a list of completely unrealistic, but wholly anticipated events. Now the time has come to analyze the results that didn’t materialize of the prognoses I had dreamed up.

And here’s what happens. Everything that I had written – it all came true! You compare.

1. We have the creation of two new parties – Party street gangs and Party of individualists.

So that’s what happened. A part of the people all-the-same have divided into street gangs and lone-wolf individualists. The right kind of street gang keeps their word and helps their own. But rotten individualists crap in back streets. They’ll set an ATM on fire, throw a bottle. There is no and there will be no mercy for them. [Translator comment: Medvedev is redefining two words that originated in the criminal milieu of the 19^th century and recently popularized in a Russian TV series. I can only theorize that Medvedev is differentiating the two parties according to, as he is defining them, the former, working together to achieve a common goal; while the latter foments discord as loose cannons, i.e., apparently identifying the Russian nation as the former, and Ukraine, as the latter. He may also have in mind Joe Biden, his son, Hunter Biden, Donald Trump, and possibly French President Macron as “rotten individualists.”]

The allocating of credit to Ukraine in the amount of one hundred and fifty billion dollars, and then the absconding of this credit by the Kiev regime with the participation of Hunter Biden.

And what didn’t happen from this? Money allocated and successfully heisted. Hunter Biden stole his a long time ago. He was anticipating a new share of the money, wound up in a frenzy of narcotic kleptomania, but was pardoned by a caring senile daddy.

Dissolution of the usual police formations in the EU with the transfer of their functions to German and Ukrainian Nazi police forces.

The manure riots of French farmers, demonstrations of Western politicians with reduced social responsibility, the ‘bacchanalia’ of international freaks at the Olympics in Paris – all this unambiguously confirms that the former police and other powers in Europe have disintegrated.  Some Macron (who is he, by the way?) has remained alone. On the streets of Europe, the dirty canvases of yellow and blue flags are being waved, in Nazi typography they print comics about the vacant-stared ghoul Bandera, and blood-sucking neophytes in Kiev follow the canonical Church and praise Satan. [Translator Comment: By referring to the “canonical Church,” Medvedev, being Russian Orthodox, is referring to Western/Latin Catholicism.]

There’s nothing to comment on here. Seasoned violator of rights, Donald MAGA Trump, has brilliantly been elected as U.S. president. Bravissimo!
